Every website you power with Firerift will have it's very own REST API. Use the API to access and edit your content via AJAX and other methods. All of the content you create from within Firerift is accessable via Titan from the REST API, making it very easy for you to create custom & complex features for your website. You can also choose to make your API Private, which will block anyone else from accessing any of your data through your API.

Full SEO Compliance
That's right, Firerift is now searchable and indexable by search engines. Without compromising the vision of Firerift, as being a client-side CMS, we have added support for SEO. You do not need to do anything extra to make this work, it just works. Whenever you use the Firerift-Titan CSS Interface, the system will generate the content in PHP whenever a search engine visits your website (PHP 5 required). It's completely automatic!

Rich Text Editor
Firerift has it's own completely custom Rich Text Editor. This is not some chunky code crammed into the Firerift interface, but was written from scratch to perfectly compliment Firerift's interface. Now blogging is more visual with the Firerift Rich Text Editor!

Gravatar Support Built into Comments
Gravatar's are a great way to add more personalization to your comments. Firerift now natively supports Gravatars!

Previous & Next Item Support
Firerift now has support for easily linking to the Previous or Next post in a Blog, Gallery, or Life Stream. By adding the class "fr_prev_item" to any anchor element, you can send your visitors to the previous Entry in that particular Blog when they click the link. The same goes for "fr_next_item".

Local Installations
Now you can install Firerift onto your Localhost as well as your registered domain. When installing locally, just enter your localhost domain into the "Registered Domain" field. It automatically works!

Life Stream Auto Updating
Now there is no need to manually update your Life Stream. It's automatic. You can even control the frequency at which the system will update your Life Stream. Once the time to update has expired, the system will automatically update your Life Stream the next time any visitor visits your website.

Completely Re-Written Firerift-Titan CSS Extension
We have completely re-written the Firerift-Titan CSS Extension from scratch. It is fully backwards compatible with any existing code you have. None of the methods have changed, and it will all work the same... just much faster even more reliable!

Relative Dates: "5 minutes ago"
Want to display your dates in a relative format?
Example: "12 seconds ago", or "3 days ago".
Now you can! It's as easy as simply adding the following CSS classname: "opt_relative" to any element that has a class of "fr_date".

Easy Text Truncation
By adding the new CSS classname "opt_truncate_32" to any element, you can truncate the text by the number of characters you specify. For example, you can truncate the following line of text:
"I love Firerift and it's awesome new features!"
to just 10 characters by adding the classname "fr_truncate_10" to the element that contains the text. The result will be:
"I love..."
This feature is also white-space aware, and will truncate the text at the nearest white-space to the number of characters you specify.

Internet Explorer Compatibility
Titan now displays Firerift's content in IE6, 7 & 8! No more worries about hacking for IE, it just all works!
